Speaker
Dr Dominique Touchon Fingermann is an Analyst Member of the School (AME) of the International Forums of the Lacanian Field. She is a psychologist, psychoanalyst, author and editor of psychoanalytic works, and a founding member of the Brazilian Forums of the Lacanian Field. She currently practises psychoanalysis in São Paulo and Nîmes, France. She also teaches in the clinical training programmes of the Lacanian Field in São Paulo and at the College of Clinical Psychoanalysis of Southeast France.

In this seminar, Dr Fingermann addresses one of psychoanalysis’s most fundamental questions: if a psychoanalysis is to reach its conclusion — and perhaps lead to the analysand becoming an analyst — what initial shift in discourse makes its beginning possible?
